Not a Yankee, but Albert Pujols is definitely one of the best hitters ever. Of course, it sucks that we're still struggling with the so-called "Steroid Era," where guys like Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, Jose Canseco, and yes, Barry Bonds make every offensive stat questionable. But Pujols definitely is leading MLB into a new generation (oh fine, not including A-Rod...) - one where guys produce under the scrutiny of regular drug tests. But that in no way diminshes what the guy has done so far in his career. Just look at what he has done so far...

Yes, I admit I have an obsession with this guy, especially when it comes to playing fantasy baseball. But honestly, who in their sane minds who play fantasy baseball doesn't have a thing for Albert Pujols?!?! (And yes, if you say you don't, it's either out of jealousy because you don't have him or you're in denial because as the NYYFans.com league showed, we have 1 owner with Albert Pujols and 19 owners drooling for him.)

And I mean, c'mon, I think Astros fans are still scraping their jaws off the ground after Pujols rocked that ball outta the park in Game 5 of the 2005 NLCS (see below, "borrowed" from MLB.com, please don't sue me... ^_^" )

Disclaimer: My obsession with Pujols has NOTHING to do with the fact that he went to college or currently lives in KANSAS CITY!!!
